I have this pretty brooch, marked Silver 925 German made. It has Harps, and Shamrock and a Horseshoe, which suggests Ireland. I have no idea how old it may be or why a brooch with Irish symbols was made in Germany. Has anyone got any ideas?

This pretty brooch was made after 1940 for the export market.

Thanks Efesgirl, I thought it may be really new actually, it's so shiny! Though one of the small stones is missing.

It could be relatively new, although Marcasite jewelry isn't worn so much these days. :-)))))
