Just curious when this is from, what the pattern is, and if the base was added later as it says Made in Taiwan.

    Scale is my large hand.

does look to be a glue-up the plate is often marked and is KIG Fleur-De-Lis or Trellis; often marked KIG Indonesia or KIG Malaysia. It's possible KIG had the base made in Taiwan, but haven't seen this glue-up before.
