    I bought this today at a thrift store thinking it was a pot hanger. I'm not so sure now. It's really heavy, I think brass. What ever it is, it's nicely made. I'm feeling like it could be some kind of chandelier. Any ideas???? Thx

      Hi Kyratango, when I bought it, that's what I was thinking but it's pretty big.

      the single point center suspension would not work so well for hanging pots. Possibly some type of chandelier, as it does look as if candles cold be placed around the perimeter...

      You're right. There is a wide ledge which could easily hold cand led and beads could drop from the center and attach around the lower part.

      also depending on size there may have been a drop-in light fixture that fit into the frame.
