    Kearney's Barbecue was located on US Rte11 in Edwardsville, PA. In addition to having its own menu, it was also a Chicken in the Rough franchise.

    It's sad to have lost such local independent restaurants, and re: this one, it's particularly galling that a McDonald's outlet now occupies the site :(

      Thank you, Sean! In addition to be a lost icon of the town, the postcard has great sentimental value for me, as its owners, Charles and Mary Kearney were relatives of mine. They lived on the second floor, above the restaurant......

      Nice people, and good business people...we never got a free meal from there!

      That Chicken in the Rough was my favorite!
