    Well, two exciting things here:

One is this $13 dollar find: a pitcher, titled Golden Eagle, by Lockhart & Co., Pollokshaws (ck, not just k), a Scottish pottery company under that name from the late 1850s to 1880 (what I've read).

Second thing is, photo one and two are the exact same image, but I used a new program to 'brush out' the glare! (It's exciting to me, at least).

The pitcher is one of two antique ones I now have, this being more colourful and larger. I may take up using it, as I also use the other one.

Condition is good. No cracks or chips. Just crazing and some detail wear.

Anyone know more on this piece?

There's a bit of the history here, second down on this page:
      http://www.pollokshaws.org.uk/page_46.html

They seem to be tied up with Bell's Pottery early on:
      http://www.bellsglasgowpottery.com/fileuploads/Bells%20Chapter%2008.pdf

At some point, they were known as Victoria Pottery:

There's an email addy attached to that last link, you might try to enquire:

Thank you, Katherine. I read my info on a FB collector's page. If I remember, they said they changed the pottery name to Victoria in the 1880s.

My brother in Scotland would love this, he’s an avid birdwatcher and is always going up North to catch a glimpse of the Golden Eagles.

You're welcome. The only thing I wish it had, is the ability to crop circles without squared edges.
