I found this necklace today in a thrift shop. This is a brown bakelite necklace with a metal screwclasp. The beads are the same size with small beads in between. I don't know of wich material the small beads are made of.
The large beads tested positive with simichrome.
I'm not a bakelite expert so I don't know how this color is named.
I think these are caramel and chocolate marble color beads. The tiny beads almost look like wood. That's a great find!
It is a short necklace. It's 41 cm and the largest beads are 2 cm.
There us no such thing as too much bakelite!! Yout piece is a stunner!
I really LOVE this! This is my favourite in your collection! Wonderful color and shape of beads!
