I have spent hours online trying to figure out what type of lamp this is. I have the pair. I have found slightly similar lamps, although they only have the single prism ring. I could not find anything with the double prism ring except for Mantle Lustres.

You can feel the design on the lamp, and the white piece that is under the bulb is made of a cardboard.

Each lamp has 20 prisms 10 on each tier.

With the chimney on it is 20.5" tall.

I would like to know what the proper name for these lamps are, about when they wer made and appx. value.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks in advance,
    Beth

They were very popular in the 50's, 60's to 1970's. Have seen many of them. Lamp with hurricane shade and prisms. Sometimes called bedroom lamps. In victorian times these were used on fireplaces at each end and at that time had long rod shaped slass drops. Have had many lamps with the glass ball part that you show. There are many on ebay also.
