Hi, unused is great. Is your stamp a 1¢ currency or in decimal. I'm wondering if this is a copy or not.
I have the same ones in my Grandfathers Stamp Collection. But I don't know much about them. Mine are all unused.
I'm gonna go get my book out and see if I can give you any further info.
I have all of these stamps and thought I could look and tell you something more about them. I do know the 5c stamp in the 3rd photo is from 1938-39. And I think the Italian ones might be from 1940, but not totally sure. I am new to collecting stamps and actually inherited a stamp book, all mostly unused stamps from my Grandfather. Sorry I couldn't tell you more.
Hi, jeneric. Hey thanks for your input on the stamps. I'm much the same,I have inherited my collection also.
Iv done some research on identify the stamps, but it is very time consuming. I have so many it makes it hard to actually focus on one country. But the water marks is a way to identify authentic stamps, well so I've read.
True it is tedious to identify. I also have a bunch from other countries. I want to find someone to go through it and appraise it for me. Good luck. What book is it if you don't mind me asking?

The Italian stamps are Fratelli Bandiera.
The reference is to the brothers Attilio (1811–1844) and Emilio Bandiera (1819–1844) who were Italian nationalists and martyrs during the period called the Risorgimento which led to the creation of a Unified Italy round 1871.
