I can not read the name of Pottery Company but it is a Ceramic doll that was the mold was made as a blank by them and likely painted by a student in a doll making class . She would have been a collectors type doll not a toy and has very little value in today's market . If you rub a pencil across name of Pottery store it may show up better and you can wipe if off without hurting doll. Welcome to CW
Thank you! That's a great answer! And The solution about rubbing the pencil across the marking...yes, so clever. IT îs ok about not being valuable, the doll i mean. IT was cheap and i mark it as "experience" :) Have a nice weekend, everybody!
hi i was just wondering is that hair on the doll its original? maybe found with pieces of pink hair like wool and pink dress ? thanks x
Not sure what your question is ? She is not a factory doll so whoever makes her in a ceramic doll class could use any wig or dress ?
i asked about hair as i had adoll many years ago with exactly the same face freckles everything the body too was the same, my doll had pink wool like hair. my dad had brought her home from london.
regrettably my doll was left behind when we moved house ive looked at many dolls on alot of different web sites but never seen adoll look so much alike as this one,i was wondering would you sell her? as she is as id love to remake my childhood doll and give it to my own daughter.x
Hey, Joanneskylar, i'm verry sorry to tell you that i have already gave the doll for free, to a friend of mine. It's obvious that i can't ask it back....so...:(
I may tell you for sure that it was and it will be the only doll that i would ever buy because i am not at all interested in dolls. I only love glass and china .
i wish you all the best !
okay ???? thanks for getting back to me...wish you all the best too x
