I've been collecting Welz pedestal vases for a while now and these are simply two more. They demonstrate how Welz would tweak their spatter mixes and how unlikely it is that anyone could ever hope to have a comprehensive collection of their décors.
I did get agreement that 'Pedestal Vases' would be a suitable name for these shapes.

I had one of these, but sold it some time ago, now this is making me want to get one again! I really enjoy the focus you put into your collection.
I know something about selling things, then regretting it when I had more knowledge! That's been my experience, not that I'm suggesting it applies to you in any way.
I hadn't regretted selling much until I signed up with CW. :+)
I've sold a lot of glass, but thankfully only regret a few of them...as for things I didn't buy, the regret list is somewhat longer! At the top is a piece of pink Tango glass which I passed by over 20 years ago - & I am still annoyed that I didn't buy it.
Funnily enough, I seem to often find a similar item to something I've just sold, & in that way I have been able to get another example of something I did regret selling...
Seems there's nothing unique in the human experience lol
artfoot and IronLace, thank you both :)
The things I've walked away from without buying are the ones that haunt me the most - something I have in common with probably all who both deal in and love this stuff (whatever that stuff may be). I only regret the sales now because I don't even have pictures of most of them to reference. Like I said somewhere else, relying anymore on my memory is risky.
Best not to think about them, artfoot

Thank you so much, kivatinitz :)
Beautiful collection, Peggy! I don't see this decor very much. And I think you know I love group photos - the last one is terrific! :)
These are beautiful!
I have some similar design pieces, I'll have to post them to see who made them. I thought English but maybe they are Welz
Thank you, Michelle. I agree that this is a less commonly seen décor.
Thank you, courtenayantiques. I'll be watching out for your posts.
