bought this for $2 at the salvation army. I can't seem to find anything like it online as far as cartoon characters on this style of old ceiling fixture. can anyone add anything about this?

It's in super condition! They aren't Tom and Jerry. I think the lamp is from the mid-century, perhaps 1940s/1950s.
