This hanging pendant was in an older home I bought. It is a very unusual and detailed hanging ceramic pendant light that is marked "Taube Italy 2798" on the top. It looks very "Turkisk," or like something you'd see in Istanbul. I have researched it on the web, but can't find anything out about it. I'd love to know it's history as it makes for quite a conversation piece.
I also have a lamp as you described in the summary above...the one i have is has the exact same number. Did you have any idea what its worth?
