ladderback chair

I found this chair at an estate sale. I was told the maker was an American pioneer in St. Charles Mo who died in the early 1940s. Its sturdy and the weaving is perfect. I paid $10 for the chair and foot stool was thrown in. It does not match but was also made by the same maker.
