Appears to be oak was purchased from a couple who had it in there family for sometime but didn't know how old it was as it had been handed down to them. They say the table was from the northern part of the country they brought it with them when they moved to Texas and it didn't fit their decor so they decided to sell it. I'm debating what to do about it whether or not to refinish it or leave it original either way it's a lovely table the underside of it is unique in that the legs slide in to a joint so there are no screws holding the top on just the joint as pictured above so the top can be removed by simply sliding them out makes it easy to move around. I'm trying to find out more about it on my own as I find it interesting to wonder what kind of place and life it had before. I love older furniture the care and the craftsmanship that went into making them is very beautiful to me. Each piece has a history.
The top measures 23 x 23 second shelf is 15.25 x 15.25
