    Found this today any info? Also says THE MARQUIS on the bottom of the bowl along with ENGLAND W.H GRINDLEY&CO

      Wash basin and pitcher, made in Tunstall, Staffordshire. Here is a link to a great site for Staffordshire pottery, this page shows tsome of the marks used by Grindley, which will help you date your set.
