Hello, I'm trying to date this kewpie baby. Has no markings and material seems to be bisque but not sure. I know there were a lot of replicas but really think this one is an original. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi your doll is really not a kewpie but a chalkware frozen leg doll and often called a carnival doll . Kewpie is a trademark name of a doll that belongs to Rosie O'Neill and they had wings . There are look a like Kewpies but again they have wings . Yours is a pocket size doll a novelty doll. Appears to date 1930's -40s
