    a cobalt blue codd bottle from Emmerson Brothers Newcastle
    6/ounce in size
    date late 1890s
    E B monogram to front
    the reverse side embossed
    patent safe groove 4 sole makers
    Dan Rylands Barnsley
    a marble inside of chamber when fizzy pop was filled in with pressure the marble would be forced up to lip which had a rubber seal in lip making a water tight seal , then the marble could be pushed down enabling pop could be drank

      Hi Rick found only aqua ones coloured ones from the North East exceptionally rare
      and tar for the love too
