I'd say 1940s? (maybe earlier tho) I can crochet but not this well. I use yarn and make afgans.
This is quite large, 13 inches across and has been stiffly starched to stay flat. I love old needlework and have a nice vintage collection. When I am having a hum-drum day, I get the collection out and it raises my spirits when I think how wonderful we ladies are and what art we can accomplish with just hands and thread and some material. Woooow!!! The close up shows even the daisies are crocheted!!! It's so cute, I can't imagine how long that took, a very crafty lady did that!
