    Have had this madman for over 30 years. Was told it was made to represent a Asian myth. Does anyone know it.

      This isn't a Mudman figure. There is no hole in the base and the colors are wrong. The fish looks like a Koi Carp, which would make it Japanese.

      I can't read the stamp on the base, the photo's blurry. I can see the last character (zao or made) that's all. Could you put up a clearer picture of the base? You can also try looking on

      I would say its Chinese over Japanese by the style of the person.
