A selection of Chribska vases, probably designed by Joseph Hospodka when he was working as a designer for Chribska......late fifties/early sixties.
These designs stayed in production for a long time and some can be found in later Chribska catalogues posted online by Jindrich Parik.
From the left, vases two and three are the same design in different sizes. Vase three is a less commonly found design, but all designs in this series conform to the same design aesthetic.
Love the colors!!
Thank you Mrst, They came in other colour combos too!
Hi Peggy. Ooh, a move away from your usual posts. Love No.3 in the middle, they remind me of Batman
Fran Never heard that before:) It's often called 'Cat's Ears'. Chribska, or more correctly, this particular series of vases, was an early interest of mine.
Love the display! Your photos are always so good, they really show the beauty of your pieces
This was an early love of mine too Peggy but I don't own beauties like these.
The green and blue combo is beautiful and not one I see much, but I have never seen the shape of the little no.4 before.
Thank you, courtenay........ always so kind!
Super Collection and Display Peggy !!
Hi Karen, as to the green and blue, that's common here. Odd isn't it.
Thank you so much, Rose, you crept in there while I replying to Karen :)
