Here are two more art pottery pieces that arrived from my sister back in December. So I guess they're technically Christmas presents to myself. The Weller vase is the largest piece I have ever seen at 16" and in perfect condition too ! The little 5" Roseville Gardenia rose bowl is also perfect. I have to admit I sometimes acquire pieces after she leaves because I have a tendency to love just about everything and then I won't be chastised. They may get back to the store eventually but....for now I'll enjoy them and it's our little secret. Hmmm...now let's see.....those Hull pieces are pretty nice too. -Mike-

Thanks Karen.....the market for these is pretty flat right now so they really would just sit in the shop forever and risk getting broken from handling. They're too nice for that fate. :)
They're both nice Mike, but boy how I love the second one... the rim, the handles and that rose, which reminds me of cameo work. Lovely piece!
Thanks Rick ...I have to admit I like the Roseville better too. However the sheer size of the Weller piece is impressive although the color is a bit bland and I'm not really a fan of pink either.....lol. :)
