After the avian posts of racer4four and Mrstyndall I decided to make it three! The bird in question is not in the same league in terms of beauty, I must admit. However it is perched on the handle of a Kralik basket which, for me, makes up for all else.
The basket is in that wonderful Kralik pink which appears white and only occasionally pink. In this case the base of the basket is always pink because the glass is thicker there. It looks pink in image three because the camera is photographing two layers of the palest pink I've ever seen. This green appears a lot in Kralik applied leaves etc.
The Art Deco vase in image four is also in this incredibly pale pink.

Sklo42, both of your pieces are awesome!!
It's unusual & wonderful! I've never seen one before!
I am a sucker for opalescence and soft colours and this is delightful. I do love the bird, it finishes it off perfectly!
In Nature and in Glass variety of birds exist and all are beautiful.
Your Basket is BEAUTIFUL !!! Love the pale pink .
Thanks to all for the loves and comments.
MrsT, an 'awesome' always goes down well :)
IronLace, me neither and I probably won't see another.
Karen, it was the bird wot dunnit! I have seen a Kralik vase with an applied bird so seeing this it was now or never!
Ivonne, I'd like to think so, but this one looks like a flying guppy!
LovelyPat, yes, the pale pink really makes it.
Oh, wow! I have never, ever seen any of these with a bird! I just love it - what a special one to add to your wonderful collection!
Thank you, Michelle, I like the 'almost' pink glass too :)
