I got the silver pendant from my grandmother. When I was a bit younger my grandmother gave me A couple items that my grandfather had bought back from World War II Germany when he fought against the Nazis, like a Nazi medal and a tinnie. I am wondering if this could have been a piece that he brought back also. It is marked 800 on back and don't know if front design has any significance or not. Any ideas?

800 standard silver was commonly used in Germany, and other places, so it's very likely that this pretty pendant also was made in Germany.

I'd say German. Between 1900 & 1920. That blue enamel is very common on German jewellery produced during this time. Usually more geometric in design than yours. Search jugendstil blue enamel & you'll be sure to find some.

not so familiar with jewelry but it is attractive. Any German medals or paper work that was brought back home?

Huddybuddy-figured I would ask :). Yes, I also a German tinnie in the shape of a rose and some kind of German medal. My grandfather was in a group that had invaded one of Hiltlers houses, but he had already escaped . He took s teacup from the house and sent it back to his sister. Have no clue what happened to cup-guess it was lost to history. He saw many atrocities and was effected by it the rest of his life. I will try and post the medal and rose a little later. Thanks for the response
