    (813 items)

The earliest being an early example of Warner's Safe Pills (c. 1883, plainer version), the newest being (a guess) the Iron & Wine (pre-1915).

Mostly, 1890s-1910 as that is what I collect.

I have more, but not everything can fit into my camera-shot with the board.

There is alcohol (whiskey, beer, and brandy), medicine (several), ink, juice, and an early soft-drink seen here.

Who is the maker of the Canadian whisky? Have never seen a labeled bottle like it.

      What's is it ?

Dianisidine, which makes you sneeze violently. Add to air ducts or sprinkle before a powerful fan, and everyone suffers greatly.

      A great toy, really.

The Victorians and Edwardians had lots of fun inventions. Sadly, they didn't know the negative affects of many.

Rarely do I pick up a labeled bottle that has a poor condition label on it. I once passed up on a pre-1870 bottle at $2 with pontil and small remains of label, because its label was barely remains.
A pontiled bottle with original label is sought by many collectors, but I seek pre-WW1 quality labels. I do, of course, have some poor-condition labels, but I'm very picky and those usually end up for resale.
