The book title will be inside on top of most of the left hand pages I think.

All the cover says is "Caxton Edition" and on the side of the binding it says "Stoddards Readings and Recitations". On the first page it is blank but has some stuff hand written that says "to Kenneth merry xmas, 1894. To father from the children at Lancaster, Mrs Adams." Kenneth was my great uncle. The first page with typed words says "readings and recitations from modern authors: being pearls gathered from the fields of poetry and romance. By R.H. And Elizabeth Stoddard." And then it names a bunch of writers

In the preface it has all of the different titles listed that are in the book such as: The sculptor of Bruges, the Turkish maiden, the pipe of war, love's queen, a forgotten Valentine, the Dukes daughter, Fauntleroy the forger, before the mirror, etc with the authors of each
