This is an enormous Bernard Instone Silver and enamel brooch. There is a similar brooch in the Victoria and Albert museum in London, I will put a link of this brooch in the comments. I suppose you would have sworn this on a lapel because it weighs a hefty 28 grams. The enamel is mainly green but there is a colour change to a teal colour at the bottom of one of the leaves. There are 4 pearls each on the 2 stems. The brooch was made during the 1940s and is marked B.I
Many thanks for looking

This brooch is very similar.
That brooch is nearly life size! Stunning piece, Jean, and the one in your link is very interesting to compare :-)
Kudos for your late addition!

Hi Bonnie, I'm glad it's your favourite flower. The enameling is in great condition and with the pearls flowers it's a great addition to my ever expanding Bernard Instone collection.
