    I just found this at a thrift store. It is a wooden wind up with an alarm, used to have a thermometer but part of it is missing. Just wondering if this is original or a home made clock. Any info appreciated, thanks.

      The wood is probably MULGA.

      Many Australian firms produced these wares in the post WWII years.
      The German movements were added. In the period after the war it would have been cheaper to import the movements.
