My husband purchased this from a thrift store, although at the time he wasn't really sure what it was.
It is a really lovely silver (unmarked but tested) pennanular brooch/pin perfect for a shawl or heavy lapel coat.
I am unsure of the stone on each point but possibly crysoprase. It anyone can elaborate on that I would be grateful.
I have been a collector of vintage brooches for a long time but this is my first pennanular!
A very pretty delicate shawl pin, I think the stones are Chrysoprase
Thank you Peasejean55. Appreciate your input on this one:)
Very nice design on your pennanular!
I collect brooches too, but haven't one yet :-)
The stones may be too fine nephrite jade.
Hi kyratango, and thank you for your comment. Delighted you love brooches too!
Thank you for considering the gemstones may be nephrite jade. It's not an easy one, but I welcome all your ideas.
nutsabotas6, thank you! He certainly has. :)
The stones are probably chalcedony.
Thank you davy286. Will have a look at them again.
