We inherited this crystal and are told it's waterford but no where can we identify that it is. It is fairly old as it was my husbands mothers. I think possibly they had stickers once upon a time but no pieces do now

1947-1999 all Waterford had an acid etched mark, Waterford. It's a frosted white mark.

Thank you for the info. I have looked for a marking but cannot see anything. Where are the etchings usually?

Another aunt has the same crystal and hers has a sticker that says watetford glass ltd. Would that mean anything?

Yes, all Waterford does have the etching. The trick is to find it! I have a couple pieces left and actually didn't know they were Waterford until I saw a piece like mine on a reputable site so I knew that etching was there somewhere. I found it on my vase finally. It is very tiny and actually does not even look like it spells Waterford, but it does. On wine glasses I do believe they are marked on the bottom, so turn it over and firmly but lightly 9if that makes sense) run your finger around the edge to see if you can feel it. It may take a while but if it's Waterford, it's there. It looks like it is.
