My dad gave me these, he's been collecting antiques for as long as I can remember. Was wondering if anyone has seen anything like it. Their Chanel, I'm going to date them from the 50-60's.

I'm doubt that these are genuine Chanel. The stamp is incomplete - goes right off the edges of the metal. The same stamp is pictured on this page:

More info here:

"Poorly Formed Marks – Molds for many counterfeits are made by pressing the back of the earring into molding material, a traditional technique used for manufacturing knockoffs. The result is either a mark that is very illegible when magnified, or one that is clearly misshaped, and sometimes both. Genuine Chanel marks are almost always very clearly legible when magnified."
Hi Efesgirl,
Thanks for the info. I'd see where the questions would come up. My father did know the owner of the earrings and she got them as part of a couture outfit from the Chanel collection in the 50's. I'm just trying to pin point a date on the earrings. Even though it is right her stamp was very clear on most of her pieces, in the early 50-60's she and her team would often make matching accessories that weren't mass produced, resulting in a more of a couture vibe.
Just out of curiosity, can you please edit your post and add a photo of the backside of these earrings? I'd like to see the clips.
Just added it.
