Wrapping up my shoebox series of posts for now. Sadly I will probably find more and inflict them upon those here.
The information I found on this is a rather long web page article that says it is good at making stains or vandalism or something of that sort. S**t is mentioned but nothing about Shinola.
Let us see what clues there are to date this. There is no UPC symbol and it is priced at 17 cents. I will guess circa 1950 and do not quote me on that.
It does have a nifty griffin logo. Those who played D&D will recall this as the ultimate mount. A very tough carnivorous horse that flies. Also I believe it was nickname of the Villain in the Muensters movie
There's something about graphics in three colours that invokes vintage.
I can imagine what this dye smells like.
