Picked this Sikes Company chair at an auction this weekend for a pretty low price and it is in relatively good condition. A few scuffs but I'm pretty sure it is original finish. All the original labeling is in place including the UIU Union Label.
Trying to figure out though what time frame this might be from and what the Pattern, Wood and Finish identifications represent so I can properly document the chair. If anyone knows or can point me to a site that I might research this information, I would be very grateful.
Thanks.... Doug

Thanks, I actually just did find that reference so I know what the pattern number represents and based on the available woods I suspect it is made with Birch (only one that has a B in it) with the imitation Mahogany finish, specifically it appears to have the darker Mahogany No. 8 or Adam Brown finish.
The only unknown at this point is the time frame that this chair was manufactured in given the style and serialization of the labeling. I know they made this particular design over a wide period of time.
