This Victorian cut velvet satin glass vase is made from two layers of cased glass, blue over a white interior, with a raised quilted pattern. It measures
16.5 cm tall, 3.5 cm across the top rim, & 6 cm across the base.
This was an op shop (thrift store) find. As can be seen, it has a major crack running through it, but it was so cheap, & so pretty that I couldn't turn it down. It also matches a pink vase I have of the same design. I am fairly certain that the crack happened in transit to the shop, or perhaps even from rough handling while on display, as the crack does not have the embedded dirt that items cracked long ago tend to show. It still displays nicely.
