#12 ~ Original Progressive Hippie Denim Jeans that took FOUR DECADES to Complete. At which time the Hippie with the colorful name of "Space" no longer had lady friends who would aid in this... this... art project. And there is always the inconvenient fact that he could no longer fit in them. Such a tragedy! One thing that makes these so incredibly unique is the sheer weight of them. Over time - and I believe four pairs of denim jeans, they have all been morphed into one pair of weight bearing exercise pants. I have collected some wonderful examples of this genre, but these stand alone... literally....ok, well almost. ...I recently acquired an original San Francisco carpet belt from a hippie lady known as Moon. I can not help but wonder if Space and Moon ever got together, but maybe it's because it is Valentines day that I ponder that.
No rules with Space - none applied here either and what a fantastic tapestry of a life.
Imagine where these jeans have been worn! What they have heard and seen. Amazing.
