This set I believe was made by Indiana Glass. I believe the pattern is called "Sandwich."

These are not crystal. They are pressed glass.

crystal can simply mean clear glass and can be pressed. crystal can also be lead glass and also pressed. either can be cut and polished or left unpolished gray cut.

How could I find out if they are worth any thing, beside sentimental value? Who could I talk to and find out for sure what kind of crystal these are?

Sixth paragraph talks about the "Sandwich" pattern. The article is very informative about Indiana Glass, and you can see some current eBay auctions on the right hand side. For current pricing, CW does not offer appraisals, but if you go to eBay and do a search on Indiana Glass / Indiana Depression Glass / Indiana Sandwich Pattern you may find some good comparables.

      Good id by TimeTraveller.
