This board has no markings so it is a bit difficult to find information on it. There are no Philips head screws on it so probably pre 1930.
It came with the Pres Mit seen on the end in the first photo. I will do a second post on that later. The pleating iron I already had.
Photo three shows that it has a hole for hanging it from a wall. I used similar board back in college in the 80s. The rules on ironing back there was never iron the collar or the button placket. Ironing was only done for job interviews or other interviews. I was the only one who knew how to iron back in my dorm days. It has little to do with this board but thought I would share.

Also My Mom used to have a metal vintage mangle iron machine!! Ever see one? It looked like this for ironing. You used your knees to push the controls underneath ( pedal like hanging down ) and used both hands to guide the clothing in to iron. I remember using it. Suppose to be faster than the iron and the ironing board ....but not sure....LOL

Thank you very much Rose. Looks like house cleaning was a full time job back then. It takes about 10 minutes of my time to do a load of wash. The secret is separate hampers so everything is sorted.
Never have seen a mangle iron. It looks rather complex.
