This vase was created by Colorado artist Brian Maytum in 1996. The vase features a light cranberry with pulled green leaves. The surface has a wonderful metallic oxide iridescence. It stands about 7" tall and is about 4" in diameter. The lip is flame polished and the base is signes, dated, and numbered around the pontil scar. A nice example of this 20th century contemporary American studio artist's work.
