I work at a jewelry store where we take repairs and about 5 years ago someone brought this in to be resized. She never came back and the phone number she left was no longer in service. I was told it was a antique cocktail ring and that was it. I am trying to find information on this ring. Anything would help! If anyone recognizes this ring or knows the owner that would be great too!

Can't tell you a thing from a single photo - you can edit your post and add three more photos. Are there any marks on the inside band? Need to see close up, in focus photos.

no marks. it was resized so any marks are long gone lol.

Not likely at all that you will find the owner here...also not possible that any of us can give you a history about it. Wasn't there an envelope for the ring that had the name and address of the owner on it? Every jewelry store I went to for work gave me a stub with a number and they had my phone number/address for contact purposes.

noo :( the only information she provided was a name and contact number.

If it was a land line number, it might be possible to find out who she is through reverse phone number listings. If it was a cell phone, then I'm afraid you're out of luck. :-(

Google her name...who knows, maybe something pops up on Facebook!
