Got this out of the house that my mother, my aunt and i all grew up in. My grandparents bought the bouse in the 1940s and the item had been in there already. Not sure what it would be called or what's is worth. I cant find anything like it on the internet.
I know its a fridge type system. The crank, pulley and chain lower the shelving unit into the ground where the ground itself and ground water keep your eggs, milk, etc cold. It wasnt in a country house. This house is 2 blocks from the square.
Any thougjts?
