100-200 Year Old BLACK AMERICANA Folk Art SOLID WOOD Deity Voodoo Piece FOUND in East Texas River Bottom

This is a very old peace carved from one solid piece of wood approximately 29" tall x 8" x 9.5" base. This is all wood and it's all carved his skin is red and appears to be red with Oxblood. He is sitting on a stump and has his tail wrapped around it and he's holding and petting a blue serpent which is resting its head on his shoulder. Noticed a large ears large lips and he has on top of his head what appears to be a small crown. His shirt has two tears which have been carved out to show the skin underneath very well carved. His five fingers five toes just an absolute beautiful piece of folk art. This was found in East Texas in the river bottom please help us we don't know what or where this is from what it is
