I just purchased these buttons on eBay from a seller that purchase them at a flea market there are 53 pieces in total they all look exactly the same they have a Leopard or tiger print stamped into the metal and they have a small prong in the back which seems to have been soldered also the edges seem to have been rolled by a hand crafter these buttons don't seem to me as if they were made by a modern manufacturing machine . And even they seem to be pretty old The color of the Gold is beautiful I'm in love with these buttons but sadly they do not have a marking in the back , I am a Chanel aficionado and I vaguely remember seeing this button on a vintage Chanel suit . But any and all information or opinions are welcome please I really want to know more about these buttons they are very beautiful to me. Each button measures 1 1/2 inch and they do not stick to a magnet so that tells me they are made of some type of alloy.
