GREAT Glass-- love these!
How did you ID to Bolton & Mills? I see this type often attributed to Harrach.
scott
Hi scott the ID came from a serious collector of this type of glass many moons ago
& tar for the love Bob
Thanks bob-- appreciate your response.
I have collected this type of glass for many years-- originally under the assumption it was Stevens and Williams (as ALL of this type with applied flowers, leaves, fruit, etc... used to be marked in the US). In the last 5- 10 years, much of what I thought was S & W turned out to be Harrach. This piece seems to fit with that grouping.
I am just trying to further MY education in discerning UK and Bohemian glass of this type.
Again GREAT GLASS-- appreciate you sharing!
scott

Audnam Glassworks – Boulton and Mills, 1861 to 1926
William Webb Boulton, son of Richard Boulton, was a farmer married to Jane Webb, whose mother was the sister of Edward Webb. William Webb Boulton asked his second cousin Fredrick James Mills to join in a partnership operating the Audnam Glassworks. Fredrick James Mills quit his partnership in Richardson, Mills & Smith at Holloway End Glassworks to join Boulton. On August 13, 1861, the firm of Boulton and Mills was formed.
