Catching a spark of a sunray on an otherwise overcast day!! So please the excuse shadow. This must be Japanese--Cherry Blossoms In The Jar--All over pattern and thready gold floral pattern back, all over on blue enamel ground--Enamel painted front.
Isn't it fun when you take apart a closet you haven't gone thru in years,
,and unearth in a forgotten hiding place and find something that just makes you smile and forget the gloom? That is what this small delight did for me just now. I am glad I hid it away long ago, totally forgotten, cause I needed it today!!! I am sure many of us who have collected things a long while do the same. Rediscover the forgotten little twinkles. neglected in the shadows--and there one day--- Voila!
