Vintage ladies letterman sweater I think the titles right not to familiar it's a little out of my specialty vintage clothing I've only picked up one other piece besides this one it was a Lori Deb bridesmaid dress but on my way to look for any vintage smoking jackets this was laid out on top of the rack and I thought it was just too cool for school . Not sure what school it represents whichever one it was Charlene went there ! If anybody has an idea of the age, type, school , or the meaning of the srars ???it Please drop me a comment .I would love to know more about this iteam! Oh and Charlene if you happen to see this I have your sweater and happy to return it to its rightful owner, and I did pick up a pair of vintage clip on earrings that match ! Tags read Shannon and Johnson of San Francisco all wool 38 Dryclean only. Thankyou B.
Looks to be from the 1950's.
Re roddyq - thanks for the comment i agree I think it might be from around then to maybe a little bit later but there's no union label on it but couldn't find any Rn number!
Hi eyeforit,
I think you are right because of the addef dry clean label it could be from thr 60d. I have a letterman sweater posted if you eant to check it out. It took me awhile to find info online about. The rsised lettering is what got me thinking your sweater was from the fifties. On yours the O may be Oregon or Ohio. The stars not sure of. I saw a cheetleaders sweater with a pilon or megsphone. I hopr you find some more clues.
