I decided to give metal detecting a try and found this modern high school class ring at a beach. It is marked "10k Jostens", but I haven't found any 10k silver rings made by Jostens in my research. The ring is definitely silver in color. Is this 10k silver? Or does the 10k have a different meaning?
There is no such thing as 10K silver. 10K is a gold mark.
I found many 10K rings made by Jostens on the web.

There is 10K yellow gold and 10K white gold.
What is the complete inscription on the ring?
It says "10K Jostens" and then the owners name in script
Hi PaperHoarder! As others have mentioned, this is most likely a 10k white gold ring. If you'd like, you can contact our warranty department for information on helping to get that ring back to its original owner- you can reach us at 1-800-854-7464, ext 17978.
