This is a little smaller than the blue ones, but decorated in a relatively uncommon way. The black lines are paint but the rest of the design is done in enamel. The design is a little unusual in that it mixes black geometric lines, enameled dotted lines and a natural form, as opposed to the more usual silhouettes.
Height 15 cm./6 inches
I'm writing here about the all three of your posts :beautiful lively colours, uncommon and precise painting - altogether another view of bohemian glass. My favourite is the turqoise bowl - reminds me my greece holidays:)
Beautiful and the butterfly is great!!
Thank you Ivonne, it pleases me that the bowl brought you memories of sea and sun in February :)......giving it three ticks. The other two have only two ticks......for me liking them and their being relatively uncommon.
Thank you SEAN, I too love the butterflies, both for themselves but also because I'm none too certain whether I've ever before seen butterflies on Tango glass.
Hi Peggy, I love this and your previous post. I've yet to find any painted Art Deco like them yet, only admired from a distance. The butterfly on this one s most unusual
Hi Fran, and thank you. I've never bought any of these before but I particularly liked the blue ones.......
