Belleek isn't my only habit - I also love collecting old earthenware (or sometimes called whiteware), especially from the old belleek companies.
This one is interesting since it's from Etruria Pottery Works. Who the heck is Etruria Pottery Works you ask? Well, it was started by 3 men and the mark on this piece tells who by their initials B.O.&B., which stands for Bloor, Ott, & Booth, which is the company that built the Etruria Pottery Works in Tenton, NJ.
Etruria Works ran from about 1863 to 1871 when the company was renamed to Ott and Brewer upon Bloor's departure - It was called Bloor, Ott, and Booth from about 1863 to 1864 before it became Etruria Works Pottery. Sometime around 1871 Thomas Booth sold his shares to John Hart Brewer and hence Ott and Brewer.
