This is a pair of WW2 propeller blade bookends. They were made by a member of the US Navy Construction Battalions (CBs) or popularly known as SEABEES. It has a beautiful SEABEE insignia engraved into one of the bookends. The other bookend has a Pratt and Whitney airplane engine data plate. From what I have found on the net this type of engine was used on the Corsair, Hellcat, Thunderbolt and many other planes during WW2.
These were purchased by “Gene” who added his name to each by crudely punch stamping them.

Thanks Knivesnsuch. Take a look at my WW1 prop hub with clock in it. The WW1 prop pieces while unusual are much more plentiful than these WW2 pieces.
