My fatherwho is a big Railroad buff and lives in Southern California recently gave me a broken piece of Union Pacific China and asked me to make him a bolo tie of out of it. Above is a photograph of that piece of China in the bolo tie setting. I've been trying to determine what time frame it is from but I've had difficulty in the various websites I've been to in determining how old it is. Does anybody have have any ideas?

If you had any pieces that show the pattern of the china it could be determined from that. UP used about 20 different patterns of china over the years. That backstamp dates the china from 1927 - 1960. Can't narrow it down more without knowing the pattern.
