    My Nan left this beautiful Queen Victoria Bust to my Mum and it has now been left to me It is very heavy i think it mayb Bronze it has 1837-1897
    engraved on the stand she is 6 and 1/2" high and very heavy approx 2.5 kilos not sure of the maker can not see a stamp i love this piece and would like any info on her etc thankyou for looking

      Bronze would likely be much heavier and have much sharper edges to the folds. It looks exactly like resin to me.

      Nice heirloom!
      Perhaps patinated terracota, a pic of the base may tell :-)
      By the edit item button, remove last pic, save item, then add the base and save again.

      Thankyou for your replies I have posted a pic of the base I will take her to town in morning and weigh her for correct weight I just put the metal detecter over her and she beeps lol but she may have metal in her I'll post weight tommorow I'm getting excited now Thankyou

      It doesn't look like terracotta...
      As Phil said, bronze should have crispier details...
      Very mysterious material to identify only from pic!
      Hopefully someone will be helpful :-)
